Mediumship Notes: Lesson Ten

Lesson Ten
Effective Circle Leadership

The development of mediumship is not quite as easy as some may think. For many, it challenges whole belief structures; for others, it causes them to look at what service and sacrifice really mean; for yet others, it brings to the surface a wide variety of emotions and feelings.

There is a natural tendency for the veteran medium to forget the struggles of early mediumistic development. This can very easily develop into a lack of sensitivity to the basic needs of the beginner.

Many mediums seem to be obsessed with the idea that they have to prove something: primarily, that they are, in fact, mediums. Right from the beginning, you should encourage the circle members to understand that they are not sitting to prove to others that they are mediums. They are sitting to develop a means whereby they can be of service.

A Medium’s role is to relate information from the spirit friends. The validity and accuracy of a communication must be left to the sitter.

Members should work on strengthening the links and channels with Spirit and know that as these channels become stronger, so, too, will more evidential information come forth.

Work, and work hard. Do the best you can. Always strive to make your mediumship better; but leave the proof of survival to the recipient of the messages.

Never assume that only the circle teacher can deal with the problems of the circle.

Mediums must not take their guides for granted. It is not fair nor does it demonstrate respect for the guides.

The basics of mediumship are never too fundamental for review and study.

True humility needs no calling card. It is not a badge which the servant wears. So often, mediums praise their own humility and service before others, not realizing that by praising their humility, publicly, they are, in fact, demonstrating just the opposite.

The development of mediumship is a lesson in self-discipline and self-control. The medium needs to be in control. The guides need to exhibit control. The communicators need to understand control. If control were not there, communication between the various realms of life would become a free-for-all bombardment of impressions and thought projections, and there would be very little, if any, opportunity for actual communication.

Your approach to mediumship should be one of respect: respect for mediumship, itself; respect for the spirit friends who will be aiding the circle; and respect for those to whom the messages are given.

Mediumship IS part of the Divine Plane. It is one channel through which God demonstrates that life is eternal and that communication and interaction are something which take place throughout the WHOLE of creation.

In considering prejudices against mediumship, there are certain key elements which your circle members should come to understand:

The role of the medium is not to prove anything; it is simply to demonstrate and to teach. As we stated, proof of survival and spirit communication is a personal matter and takes place within the consciousness of the individual. Two people can witness a demonstration of spirit communication; one may leave completely convinced, the other may call it fraud.

All we can do is cast seeds within the minds and spirits of others. If there is soil, fertile for the germination of any particular seed, it will sprout immediately. If not, it will lie dormant for a while, perhaps never to take root. We cannot force the seeds within another to germinate and grow. We can only tend to the sowing of the seeds within ourselves.

Mediums should not separate themselves from opposing points of view. Complacency will very quickly settle in. Hearing others’ opposing views can become an excellent way to reevaluate one’s own beliefs. What better way for us to look at what we really belief than by taking a good look at what we do not believe? We should never be threatened by opposing viewpoints.

Mediums should not bandwagon. Mediums should be respectful of others’ beliefs, share their own views, and let it go at that. Many mediums feel compelled or, somehow, obligated to push their beliefs upon others, to the point where they become just as prejudiced about their beliefs as others are against them.

Acceptance needs to be nurtured. Developing mediums must simply accept that not everyone will agree with what they do; furthermore, some may be quite vocal about it. A simple acceptance of this basic truth will relieve much tension and aggravation.

Stress to the circle members the importance of dignity, integrity, ethics, standards, professionalism, balance, respect for self and others, responsibility, honesty, and discipline. *Adonis’ Note: This would do well in training any spiritual mind*

Mediums eventually create their own style. This means their own way of doing things, their own gestures, own energy field, own ways of relaying messages etc.. It should be looked upon many other mediums and their own styles in order to take inspiration from them to create your own but not to ever copy another’s work. The development of style is important for three reasons:

It creates an energy and an aura around the medium which can be likened to his/her signature work.

It adds vitality and energy to the process of communication. It also helps strengthen the necessary links for that communication to take place effectively. Mediums who lack style find it very difficult to arouse enthusiasm among their sitters or an audience.

It strengthens the effectiveness of what is happening:
Spirit communicating with Spirit.

As time goes on you will pick up on what type of style you have. You should never force it but allow it to develop naturally. There are a few elements of style which you should present to the circle members, as they experiment and work with their own particular styles:

Mediums should always feel excited and enthusiastic in the delivery of the messages.
Verbal inflection is important. How a medium gives a message is often as important as what is said. The inflection should change with the communicator, with emotions, with feelings, and with circumstances. The vocal inflection should reflect the type of interaction and communication taking place at the time.

Mediums should demonstrate a living interaction between themselves and the spirit communicators. This means illustrating that there is a real mental conversation going on.

Mediums must project the messages. The sitters are a vital part of the triangle of energy and interaction. Once the medium links with a spirit and begins receiving the message, he/she must project that message out to the sitter and cause the sitter to become involved in the communication. After all, the message is for the sitter.

Mediums should avoid, at all cost, long periods of silence in the delivery of the messages.

Mediums should periodically request some form of acknowledgement from the sitter.

Mediums should not be too dramatic in their message delivery. This can be offensive to many people and does not, in any way, assist in the communicative process; it merely becomes theatrical and showy.

When giving messages, mediums should speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard. They should have a pleasant and friendly attitude and air about themselves. If the medium is uncertain about what is given, he/she should deal with that uncertainty in a professional manner. Poise and dignity are essential in all forms of spirit communication.

Mediums should attempt to project a sense of ease and calm. This will help them as well as help the sitter or audience feel more relaxed. This can be of invaluable assistance to the work.

Mediums should always make affirmative statements, rather than vague, uncertain comments about what they perceive.

Mediums should know when to end a message. Too often, mediums will go on and on, even though the spirit has said what he or she had to say.

Finally, and of utmost importance, is this: mediums must never insist that a particular message is correct when they are told it is not. Meet a negative response half way. Suggest to the sitter that he/she think about what is given, but never insist that you are correct and the sitter is wrong. Too many professional mediums do this, because they dare not acknowledge that they may be wrong in giving a particular message.

Style should be worked on once the medium/circle members are somewhat comfortable with delivering messages.

Once an individual decides to develop mediumship, he/she is is making a statement: I want to extend my consciousness to perceive and work with Spirit and a greater portion of the whole. Once the developing sensitive begins working more effectively with mediumship, a wonderful revelation is made clear:

Mediumship is not something one simply studies or develops. Mediumship is something one becomes!

Mediums are not mediums one part of the week and something else during therest of the week. Mediums are mediums, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, fifty-two weeks a year.

Mediumship is a way of life! Mediumship impacts your whole experience!

Mediumship cannot be viewed as an isolated pursuit which one brings out and works with for a few hours each week.

Development is not about any one person; it is about the work.

Mediumship Notes

As in every other aspect of mediumship, balance and self-discipline are the keys to dealing effectively with the emotions of a spirit friend or communicator.

In the delivery of the messages, you should always use definitive and affirmative statements. If you are sensing something, let the sitter know in no uncertain terms.

Get yourself immediately into the habit of making definitive statements. Wishy-washy, vague statements set up an aura of non-confidence and guesswork. This will create within your work a greater sense of stability and will allow the spirit friends to work with you more effectively.

Lengthy periods of silence should be avoided at all cost, as they tend to lower the energy levels very quickly and put a halt to further communication.

Always be honest in your message work!

Remember, the secret to successful meditation is listening to the voice within.

A Systematic plan of study will greatly help your development. Understanding what you are doing and how it works will help both you and your spirit friends.

You must WORK at the development of your mediumship. It is as simple as this: the more you work and study, the faster you will see results and the better those results will be.

YOU are the one who makes the final decisions concerning your mediumship. YOU are the one who will ultimately direct the course of your development.

We each experience mediumship in a unique way. There are, however, certain experiences which are common to the majority of developing mediums.

The more expansive becomes your awareness, the more outside of yourself you seem to become; at the same time, the more you begin discovering about yourself. Thus, the beauty of expanding your awareness is the discovery of just how united we all are.

consciousness in action results in awareness.

In order for mediumship to work, your level of consciousness, or your state of consciousnes, must change, alter, extend, or expand.

Remember, a body is a vehicle used by the Spirit to perceive and to experience life upon a particular plane.

In order for you to see a Spirit form, you must shift your focus of consciousness away from the Earth plane and toward the Spirit world.

The planes of life are all in the same "place." They are separated not by distance, but by dimension. The Earth plane is a three-dimension world; the Spirit world is multidimensional.

What realm, or dimension, your mind is focused upon will determine which body (physical or spiritual) is the primary recipient of external influences.

Everything that each of us perceives is subject to our own points of view, our own mental attitudes, our own prejudices, our own preconceived ideas, and our own personal interpretations.

A Regular system of meditation and mental disciplining exercises, if diligently followed, will benefit you and your developing sensitivity. It does require time and effort.

The key to successful Spirit communication is the establishment of a strong link between the medium and the communicator. For this to happen, each ahs to be in harmony with the other.

The astral body is a reflection of our emotions, feelings, adn desires.
The mental body is a reflection of our more objective and concrete thought patterns.
The causal body is a reflection of our more subjective thoughts, as well as our soul's journey and spirituality.

By observing the aura - its colors, its shape, its density, and its clarity - a clairvoyant can infer a termendous amount about an individual.

Your spirit guide and control are working with you and are very much involved in helping the spirit friends link with you.

Three Basic Elements of a Spirit message:

COMMUNICATOR: There must always be a specific individual in Spirit.
DESCRIPTION: What does the Spirit friend look like? What outstanding characteristics are perceived? What are his or her surroundings?
MESSAGE: Why has he or she come? What does the Spirit wish to say to the sitter?

Auras are generally not associated with a discarnate Spirit, but the Spirit people do ahve auras.

Thoughts are the building blocks within the Spirit world.

A message is more than words, and the developing medium must be diligently trained to grab every little bit that a Spirit communicator projects to his or her mind. Pay accute attention to every little detail and feeling which you receive during the communication.

Sending the message is only half the challenge; the other half involves you receiving and translating it, with as little personal influence as possible.

Mediumship is a cooperative effort between you and the spirits, and everything which Spirit passes to you must pass through your mind.

Let the communicator know if you are not receiving things clearly.

It is neither your position nor your business to judge what is evidential to the sitter. Only the sitter can make this determination.

If you get stuck, if something is unclear, or if the timages are coming to quickly, then refer back to Spirit and ask for assistance.

Do the best you can; trust in Spirit; trust in yourself and your workers; and know that, as you develop in your mediumship, the images will become clearer and more evidential in nature.

Clairaudience has varying degrees of manifestation. This is due, in part, to two factors:

* Mediums vary in their ability to hear what the Spirit people have to say.
*Verbal communication in the Spirit world varies in its manifestation.

When mediums receive clairaudiently, the message generally comes in one of two ways:

*The medium hears the words and relates, word for word, what is being said, or .....
*The medium receives a complete thought form of the message and what the Spirit wishes to say.

The individual words are not heard. Here, the medium must use his or her own words to convey the essence of hte thought form. However, even here, the words chosen can, and often are, inspired by the Spirit communicator.

A clairaudient medium may have to request the communicator to "speak" a little louder in order to be heard. What is really being requested of the spirit is to think his or her message a bit more strongly, or a bit more directly, or to come more closely within the medium's energy field.

The emotional aspect of a Spirit message has a snowballing effect. This is fine, but it must be controlled. The emotional snowball cannot become so alrge that it crushes the message and stops the communication.

Illustrative Mediumship is when your connection to the Spirit communicator is so strong that you may take on their characteristics they had in their physical life.

As a medium, you are seeking information from Spirit.

No matter what problem or difficulty you may encounter, go to Spirit for help and information.

Never close a message on a negative note.

Occasionally ask the sitter if what you are saying makes sense or is accepted. Get the sitter involved in the communication.

End your message to each sitter with some formal closing, such as "I leave you with Spirit's love." This lets the sitter know you are finished with him or her, allows the current communicator to step out of your energy field, and sets the stage for another communicator to come forward. In all evidential mediumistic work, there must be a clear line of distinction

between one communicator and another.

Spirit needs to know whetehr they are getting their message across, and you can assist with this in two ways:

*Insist that the sitter respond in some way. This interaction will help the communicator determine how well the communication is progressing.
*Let the communicator know, yourself, if there appears to be a problem.

We must understand that things do not always go along as expected. The links are not always strong; the messages are not always corect; the descriptions can be very vague and inaccurate; and the cooperation can at times seem very low.

There are several reasons why a message is not received correctly:

*You may not be the best channel for the spirit communicator to use. Never forget this all-important fact; it can account for much of what happens, or does not happen.
*Your personal influence may interfere with the communication.
*Energy conditions within and/or around you may not be at their best for the transmission and reception of thoughts.
*The control may not have made the necessary adjustment to the energy vibrations, in order to assist in the communication.
*The spirit communicator may not be familiar with this particular process of communication.
*You may be nervous, self-conscious, ill at ease, or even physically below par.
*The spirit communicator may be nervous, excited, or affected by other emotions.
*The telepathic link may not be strong enough for accurate transmisison.
*You may not be developed enough as a medium for good communication.

As a developing medium, you must not become too discouraged when a message is not correct. The more you work with it, the better will be the results; but you must accept one rather obvious truth: no matter how good a medium you become, you will make mistakes from time to time.

The secret to successful mediumistic development lies in taking these mistakes, looking at them, and learning from them.

Inspirational Mediumship:

As an inspirational speaker or writer, you will be linking with your teachers in much the same way as you do in any other form of mediumship; however, once the link is established, you must then become a passive vehicel for direct communication.

Apart from the type of information which is given, the most prominent difference between inspirational work and message work is that, as an inspired speaker or writer, you seek the mental influence of one spirit communicator at a time. Inspirational mediums work with a few spirit friends and, together, they present teaching and guidance to others.

You and the communicating teacher must maintain a strong and continuous link, in order for the words to come forward in a clear, cohesive, and effective manner. This requires great mental discipline on the part of both of you; a discipline which allows you to become and remain a passive vehicle for the inspiration of a spirit teacher or guide.

In order for your mind to be free enough to allow the thoughts of another to pass through easily, you need to be relaxed; you need to let go of the concerns of the day; and you need to place ego aside.

Do not fret or worry, nor should you force anything to come through. You must be in a passive and receptive state of mind. If you worry, you will set up a mental block which will inhibit the flow of energy and inspiration.

As you work more with inspirational mediumship, your mind will release itself more easily for Spirit's influences, and a greater degree of control will manifest. With work, trust and patience, you will find yourself becoming a clearer channel for Spirit's teaching.

You must trust and have faith in yourself and in your spirit companions. At some point, however, you must learn to place your ego aside, so that another may work with and through you. Please remember, you are working to serve others, not to prove that you are a medium.

Trance mediumship is very closely allied with inspirational mediumship. There are two major differences between trance work and inspirational speaking/writing:

*The level of spirit control is stronger and much more direct in trance mediumship.
*The energy used in trance work is more physical in nature.

First of all, not everyone can become a trance medium. There is a certain type of vital magnetism and energy which must be present within the organizm of the medium, in order for the spirit operators and/or communicators to induce this particular state of consciousness upon the medium.

We feel that trance mediumship involves a very definite mental link between medium and communicator; one which is so strong that the spirit is able to affect directly the energy field and, susequently, the bodily functions and movements of the medium.

Knowing when and how to close a message is vital to effective mediumship.

Unfortunately, today, students are simply not trained to work hard at their developing mediumship. Everyone expects instant results. "Make me a medium this weekend" is the plague of this New Age of, often, frivolous channeling.

The biggest mistake that developing mediums make is assuming that just because they become aware of a potential spirit communicator, the spirit friend will do all the work. You have to encourage him or her to come closer.

Your mind and focus of attention should be directed, first and foremost, to the spirit friends who wish to communicate.

Remember, spirit friends are people. They have feelings and emotions, just as we do. Be sensitive to what a spirit friend may have to encounter, in order to communicate. Place yourself in his or her shoes. This will make you a more sensitive sensitive and a far better medium.

And always remember this important point: When you stand for Spirit communication, be mindful of the fact that this may be the only opportunity a particular spirit may have to communicate with his or her earthly loved one.

Nothing is etched in stone. You must look at every bit of information and determine how it will

best fit into your work and into the work of your spirit companions.

Knowledge is excellent; but knowledge, tempered with good, hands-on experience, is what creates wisdom.

Meditation: Hecates Blessing

Hecates Blessing!

Make sure you are grounded.

Get yourself into a meditative state.

Now take your awareness to the left of you, you notice a special door. Behind this door is a pathway, a journey for you to meet the great goddess Hecate!

Take notice of the door, how big is this door? What does it look like? It is time to open the door, take out of your pocket the Key that unlocks this beautiful door. What does the key look like? How does it feel? What materials is it made of?

Now Unlock the door and let it open, before you, you see a pathway on either side amazing green grass, Beautiful and powerful trees.

Take a moment to breathe this in. Pay attention to the surroundings. Do you see anything else? Take time to bask in this pure divine beauty!

You hear a beautiful voice, beckoning you, chanting just for you to come. You follow this chanting and move forward along the path.

There are Owls above you, sitting upon the tree branches watching as you move closer and closer to your destination.

You Notice a bit farther away from you on the path stands a Massive, Powerful Hound. This Hound awaits you. Do not be scared, this is a Guardian sacred to Hecate and sacred to you now! Walk forward to meet this beautiful Hound. Acknowledge him/her, give the hound a hug and respect. Place your hand upon its back and let it lead you from this point on.

Your Hound leads you deeper into the forest. You notice it gets darker here, the trees are more, and the energy intense. You walk deeper and deeper into the forest until your Hound Stops. This is where you and the hound must part.

On Either side of you, you see huge pillars, wrapped with mandrake. In front of you, there are steps downward into a sacred place. The Temple of Hecate! You place your foot on the first step and you feel the power of the place surge through you. You hear Hecates voice calling you and beckoning you near.

Another step downward you feel the power of the Witch take over and fill your body.

Down another step, you are engulfed with the energies of the Earth transforming you!

You take one more step and a hand is reached to yours! You take the hand and you see before you the Beautiful and Gracious Goddess Hecate!

Take a few seconds to bask in her glory, to take in her energy.

She takes you deeper into her clearing, surrounded by Belladonna, Trees, And Magical Beings. In the center of the place you see a huge pit, with fire, water, wind, and earth all flowing with each other.

Hecate ushers you to sit upon a throne made from the cosmos, and she sits before you.

Listen to Hecate as she has a message for you. She will tell you, your purpose of being her Child, she will explain to you why you are called to work with her at this time and she will bestow upon you a special gift for you to take back and share.

Allow a few moments to pass and let her speak to you.

When all is said and done if you have questions for Hecate please do ask her!

Take a few moments to speak with Hecate.

When you are ready to go back, Give her a hug, she will place a blessed crystal necklace upon your neck. Pay attention to this necklace, What does the crystal look like?

Thank her and walk back up the stairs and back to meet the Hound. Pat the Hound on the back and allow him/her to take you back to your pathway where it gets lighter and lighter.

Your Hound stops and you part ways again. Thank the Hound and walk forward. You see the Door again and you walk forward along the path. You reach the door, and unlock it, shutting it behind you.

You have just experienced the Goddess Hecate!

Come out of your meditative state. Be in your body! Make sure you are grounded and share your experience!

The Spirit of the Witch

The Spirit of the Witch!

What does it mean to be a Witch?

Well I cannot speak for others but what I can do is tell you what it means to me! I have followed the path of the Witch for ages and this is what I’ve gathered. Being a Witch is a beautiful experience and a beautiful path to live. It is waking up in the morning and loving the day, knowing that the day will bring great mystery and godlike presents.

Living the life of a Witch is just like a lot of other spiritual lifestyles. It’s knowing and feeling the connection between all things and honoring that in everything you do. Witches are born each and everyday, we all have the Witch within us. We just choose to Honor and awaken that part of us or we choose to let it go. Neither is wrong, it’s a choice that sometimes is made lifetimes ago.

Being a Witch is walking your path in Truth. Understanding Love and knowing how to create and shape Love energy within yourself and within the world. It is being able to look at someone and to capture their love *in true spirit all is love* and to bless them with your love as well.

We Understand the Life Force, and work with Deities, Energies, Elementals, and much more. We tap into these forces by Chanting, Casting, Holding Rituals, and celebrating the Sabbats. We have a firm understanding as much as one can about Death and about Life. We know that there are no limits as to what we can do and create! We are the workers of all worlds; we create change and manifest our desires by will!

Being a Witch is being alive! Attuning to the universe and living your life to the best and fullest you choose to do so!

Something that I truly feel is Vital in walking the Path of the Witch is Integrity.

To me this is something very important in the practice of Witchcraft. Hold yourself to a High standard of Integrity. Be responsible for your actions! Walk your path in truth and you shall have Integrity. If you can walk your walk, knowing that you are true to your spirit, knowing that you have lived your life to your highest potential, in honor of who you are and who you choose to be at that moment then you will go far and be a well rounded and experienced Witch. Live your life with Integrity, Live your Path and the Knowledge that you are a Witch that holds yourself in a respectable and honest manner.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you WHO you are, Do not let them tell you what you should be and What a REAL witch is. It is not anyone’s place to tell you where you are in your path, how you are doing it, and that you are not good enough and doing it wrong. This is not something that anyone can do but the Witch him/herself. There are those who would like to restrict you and tell you about Karma and about the Golden Rule, About the Wiccan Rede and about so many other Laws out there that really have no place for the Witch unless, and I must stress this, UNLESS, the Witch chooses them. But if you really think about it, when a Witch holds him/herself with High integrity we already follow such laws but we do not truly give them a title. We do what is necessary and we always ask ourselves if this is something true to our heart and if it is; we will then take action. It is nobody’s place to tell us what our ethic should be, what our rules are and how we should live our path. We discover that on our own and in our own time. But as I said if you are living your life to your highest potential and in your truth, is that not enough? Is that not what one should strive for! When it no longer becomes the truth you hold, then go ahead and change it. Change your truth when it no longer suits you but only if you feel led by your true spirit to do so.

Respect yourself and Respect Others. Do not show disrespect for your brothers and sisters. A Witch knows this and does his/her best to not add to the negative energy the world tends to generate. By respecting your kindred you give them the energy you would give to yourself. You help each other grow and prosper.

I know that some say it is against such laws to curse, or to do a love spell but I am here to ask you, how do you feel about that? What are your personal truths that deal with such topics? Don’t let the world or anyone else dictate to you as to what you believe, I’ve said it enough in this article but I’ll keep saying it. A Witch is one who follows her/his spirit and is led by only their truth and nobody else’s. If you choose to use Curses, I ask you to first Calm down, Breathe and ask yourself if this is you living in Integrity? If this is the Witch you have trained and blossomed to be? If you can TRUTHFULLY and honestly say that this is so. Then Go ahead with your decision and accept any action that you have taken. You are responsible for your energies; you know this and honor it. I do not judge you, and none should judge you for the choices that you make. Make them wisely within and of your personal Spirit, you’re Truth.

We Are Witches, Ancient, Beloved and full of Soul! Awakened we Strive for the Best and go for the Gold!

Tarot Spread: Past Life

So I thought i'd post something I just came across. I did this spread 9/5/08!

1. Page of Cups represents my Mind in a past life. To me this states that I was a philosophical type who was probably quite young in mind but seemed quite old. I was full of new and exciting ideas. I was a socialite and a romantic at heart. The overal mindset is fresh and new. Artistic and the love for theories, new ideas, and communicating such with others.

2. Judgement Reversed represents my body in a past life. This one is a bit tricky for me as I am not quite sure how I see judgment reversed playing into my body aspect. A part of me wants to say I was a bit sickly or weak? I feel that I was average sized, but with some sort of ailment but nothing that necessarily was seen physically. It was like an internal something. Possibly something relating to the lung area.

3. Queen of Swords Reversed resonates with my spirit in a past life. I see this as meaning that My spirit was a bit vengeful. Very swift to act, very coy and manipulative. This to me really tells me I could of come across as being a bit arrogant and well airy. At the same time I feel that she could also mean I was in my element when it was "chaotic." And looking at the other cards especially with the Undercurrent I can see why this card would show up in my spirit. I was scorned and I held on to it. I held on to the death of my mother as I feel the circumstances were not what they seemed. I did state I felt she died at birth but I think she was killed after giving birth. All of this would really get to my spirit definitely and make me a bit spiteful? But with such energy comes the opposite too.

4. The Fool reversed represents my Birth. The first things that actually come to me when I see into the fool reversed relating to my birth are complications which then could resonate with the possible illness/weakness I was feeling with my judement card. Which in turn I also feel could be that I was born premature and that my mother died during childbirth. I feel that my birth was not necessarily wanted. I'm getting mixed emotions from this. Half wanted and half not. There was some sort of mystique concerning my birth. I can see people kind of rushing in secret which I am not quite sure what that means but the birth was very secretive.

5. The Sun reversed relates to my undercurrent. I think that this tells me that there was a huge rivalry of sorts between me and another or a group of people. I feel that I was in a sense outcasted and so everything that I did someone tried to outshine me.I do feel that I had some sort of great idea, invention, or something that would change how my people looked at me but I was betrayed and whatever it was, it was stolen from me and credited to another so this happened a lot during my lifetime and it was a reason for me feeling as judgement reversed, a bit lowly and just weak.

6. 3 of cups is my attitude. Now this card as my attitude i find a bit comical considering what we have stated thus far BUT I guess when you are trying to put a whole person together you will get so many different energies. To me this says that my attitude at times was very celebratory. I tried to really be happy and was for the most part. When I was in my element I was joyous. Even when the others would try and bring me down, I did let that effect me but at the same time I knew in my soul that All was as it should be and that they would get theirs *haha Queen of swords reversed maybe?* and I would shine when My day would come.

7. 6 of Wands relates to my actions in this life. The word Virtuous comes to mind when I see this card. I feel that there are those who did not think I would amount to anything and really did want to see me struggle and not make anything of myself but I found my place amongst my people and I am here standing up for what I believe and representing those who I truly speak for. This tells me that my actions were pure and passionate and that they paid off in the end as my true spirit was able to show. My True character. This actually reminds me of the ugly duckling who turned into the beautiful swan.

8. King of Pentacles Reversed resonates with my Death. Now this is interesting. This tells me that I was fairly old at my time of death and that I was betrayed by someone. SO I could have been killed by a loved one most likely a man. A Loved one or someone very close to me. Someone who I felt akin to and was able to clearly communicate with. I put a lot of faith in this person only to be stabbed in the back by them. The death I am not quite picking up on. It is obviously something physical. I was killed. It could of been a beating, a stabbing, etc..

9. The Chariot brings the past into this life and how it relates to family/home and the early years. I really think what comes forth in this is that Nothing stays the same and that I must be open to accepting new opportunities. I feel that this resonates with how as much LAW that was in my life nothing ever stayed the same and nothing stays the same to this day. There is a constant change but The one thing that is similar is Me. I am here in this body but a conduit of change.

10. Queen of Wands deals with work and possessions. To me this resonates with my actions in the 6 of wands. I have learned to be a passionate leader, someone who is not always afraid to take charge and be creative, to start new ideas and to go for the gold when I am given coal to work with. I also feel that this card brings a good business sense to the mix so I must of been some sort of business inclined person in the past life that is discussed. I am career oriented and just very professional. I am a very loyal and trustworthy person which in my past seemed to have been a flaw as it was my downfall but then again I seemed to have an exciting and challenging life at the same time.

11. 5 of Wands reversed deals with Love and relationships. To me I feel that the fear of being hurt in this life stems from the past as I feel All of the lies, betrayal etc in my past life has shown itself in my present concerning my love/relationship status. I feel the 5 of wands reversed is saying that a lot of people *at least the way i feel* do not take you for who you are and want more then what they actually say and are just full of lies. Something that needs to be broken.

12. Page of Wands reversed is a positive influence from the past into this life. My ability to be one with change and allow for things to happen even though I may of wanted to go route A I was taken on Route B but with a better respect for where my destination led me. I think that is what I have taken from the past into this present life. My ability to understand that everything happens for a reason and if something doesn't work out that just means something else lay ahead for me.

13. Wheel of Fortune is a negative influence that I have brought with me here. I think that everything that I achieved in my past, my success, my wisdome and knowledge in a sense has passed over here in the now but the negative connotation with it is that I at times expect people to understand much more then they Might and get frustrated a bit fast when They cannot comprehend certain things. It could leave me sounding cocky and possibly arrogant.

14. 8 of Wands is a positive influence in the now from the past life. My ability to learn things at a fast rate, to go with the flow and just move around and do what needs to be done is something that I feel this card is talking about. New Ideas, new beginnings, being able to just start fresh and do whatever I put my energies to.

15. The High Priestess is supposed to be a negative influence card. I cant really say my true feelings on this card as I would probably get scolded so I wont. Anyways I feel that this card in a negative aspect tells me that I bring a lot of trust issues to the table. Its hard for me to trust people even though that I am quite intuitive and can read people well I have an
underlying trust factor even if I feel/know they are telling me the truth. Its not just trusting other people but trusting in myself in what I can do and in who I really am. Its something that I work on daily.

16. The Star Reversed is a positive influence. Taking its reversed aspect and turning it into a positive I feel its my ability in the past life being able to go through all of that hurt all of that challenge and come out on top or at least be well rounded and be able to be who i am amongst the masses and own my space. That is what I Feel it brings to the now.

17. King of Swords is a negative influence. I think this card relates to how I died. To me this resonates with the person or persons that killed me and I bring that into this life not necessarily trusting in men. I have issues with Men which I think is funny but its true. It definitely is something I am working on but I Feel that I have just been witness to the wrong types of male energies and those who have not been a good example so it instills or triggers that past life energy that reminds of the person who Killed me if that makes sense.

18 THe Moon reversed is my Challenge/Lesson of this life. I think that this card is telling me that the lesson of it all and the challenge of it all was my psychic sense. My ability or lacktherof in my past life to read people. I was betrayed a lot by people I put faith in. This card is telling me that my lesson is to learn to trust my intuition. That the whole deception etc is waning and I am able to see people clearly for who they are and to learn from that. To not go blind as I do not need to.

19. Knight of Wands reversed represents Heart. To me this tells me that My heart is timid. Its shy and its scared of being hurt as it was before. I feel that it means that I am scared of allowing anything to penetrate it.

20. 9 of Cups reversed represents Soul. This tells me that My soul needs to be taken care of. That I need to watch what I feed it. As in literal food, as in movies, books, news etc etc... I need to take care of it as it is growing and the more Junk I feed it the more Crud That will back it up.

21. 6 of Cups is sacrifice. I feel that this means I have sacrificed Love. A person who I cared about and it just couldn't work. An Ex best friend. The Loss of a lot of seemingly good people in life.

22. The World reversed is hidden influences. To me this is Ascension. Hidden influences being that my body is aggravated, feeling delayed, held back etc but its because my spirit, my energy is shifting and making way for a great big change one that is to come with great blessings.

Alrighty There is my reading. It took a lot and I'm sure I could get more detailed but that's all I can come up with right now. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to say so!

Choices, Decisions, Life!

Christmas is Over! Now that I have time to breathe and think for a second I can update with what has been going on. Christmas Eve we spend with my Dads side of the family. This year it was actually really nice. It went fast and sweet and nothing really lingered. I did however, have a few drinks and I remember now why I stopped drinking. I didn't get excessively smashed or anything but it was enough to be intoxicated. It was nice but at the same time It wasn't. I don't like what it does to my energy these days. I can feel the way it actually weighs me down and has a extreme effect on my psychic senses.

So I woke up today and decided I would not have a drink for a few months at least if at all. Then, I remembered I have a New Years Eve party to go to and there will be drinks there. I do want to have a good time and I know that drinking is not necessary for me to do so but I was planning on having my last drink on New Years Eve but today I am sure I've decided not to do so. My spirit says that it is not what I need, it is not something that I benefit from and it only drags me down with lower energies that I need not surround myself with. It is not for me and I need to pay attention to this. I don't really drink often as it is. Once in a blue moon, every few months or whatnot. So Spirit speaks and I listen, no more drink for 9 months. 9 months is my challenge for myself.

I am also dedicating myself to myself. I have spent quite a lot of energy into giving of myself and my time with people taking what I have to offer for granted and really not honoring it for what it is. I do love helping and teaching but when you give 110 percent and you receive 10 percent back and are not met half way it takes its toll. So I've decided to close all my Forums and Networking sites that I run to focus on myself and my path, my practice as I cannot help others who do not wish to be helped. I wish to grow though and I can help myself. I have decided to dedicate my time working on my psychic senses and on shedding the physical weight that I have allowed to hold me back. I am working on shedding 60lbs but the number really does not matter as long as I am healthy and at my desired body level.

The Outlining and writing of the Psychic Development course I am working on is proving to be quite fun and enlightening. It is going smoothly and cant wait to finish!

Many Blessings,

Michael

A Fool Reading

So I Am reading Rachel Pollacks "Tarot Wisdom" and at the end of each section she has a Tarot Exercise for you to do and I will be doing these exercises and posting my findings here. If you all have any perceptions you'd like to share I definitely welcome them. You may not agree with my meanings or you may agree but I love to hear about all types of interpretations as it helps me understand the Tarot even more!

A Fool Reading

Do you want to know more about your own experience of Foolishness? Here is a reading based on the Fool. As always, we shuffle the whole deck and see which cards emerge. The questions, however, revolve around the idea of the Fool.

1. How have I been a Fool in my life?

6 of Wands

Wands = Fire, Passion, Aggression, Movement

The 6 of Wands to me represents an almost arrogant nature. Almost like I know what I am, I know who I am, I know I'm great but I know that I am not appreciated by the people here so I want to be moving along into the future where I know things are amazing. Its not necessarily a conceited act its more like the "Fool" just who he is, doesnt know better but gets interpreted by others around him as things that they truly arent. This reminds me of a time when I was younger where I would get recognized and honored for all the work and creative work that I would do *almost channel* and others around me would wonder how I got what I did, and why it seemed to come so easily. So this card reminds me that I was like the fool in "school" pertaining to not necessarily knowing what I was doing but following my inner spirit and just doing so, taking that leap and going for it.

3 of Cups

Cups - Water, Emotions, Spirituality, Fluid

The three of cups is a great card especially right after the card I just pulled. It to me Balances my Fire card out. This card is all about celebration. Friendships and a meeting of like minds in celebration. When I look at this card I have memories of my best friend Tuesday and a Friend Rachel and how we would hang out all the time after beauty school and just celebrate life! We would drive around at night listening to music, letting the wind scream around us. We would practice with each other, talking to the winds, divining, and creating. This card to me implies the stage in my life where I would party quite a lot. I would be care free and allow the wild spirit to take over. Well as you can imagine when your partying at the end of the night you can end up doing pretty "Foolish" things and I can admit that I definitely did such. Nothing I regret, I would have a loose tongue and speak my truth and well everyone elses as well! lol So the three of cups brings up the party and wild spirit self and under the rule of the "Fool" it brings out the carelessness in the sense of speaking what is observed, what is seen without the filter of "tact."

Queen of Wands (Reversed)

Yet another Fire Card hmm!!!

Well to me this card is focused on the past. This card looks back at the Cups card and the First card is looking forward to this card so they are all watching the cups card in observance and yet the two wands cards are looking at each other as well! This is a enlightening card lol as I can see it as a pattern throughout my life so far. I see this as the fool of change and the fool who gets caught up in energy and doesnt know when to shut up or back down or move on. This to me reminds me of not letting go of things, holding on to things of the past and continuing to talk about it, maybe the gossip at work as well and complaining and just focusing so much on what is wrong instead of what is right. This reminds me of a current circumstance in which someone I work with is irritating and frustrating me and all I do is complain about it with another co-worker. It also brings up past memories of an old friend who could be termed stabbed me in the back in which I am still hurt by but still talk about therefore in a sense bring gossip to the table. On another note though The Queen of Wands reversed can represent an untrustworthy friend so it could go hand in hand with the person I am talking about or even my work situation where as the people involved are not to be trusted and telling me to stop acting the Fool in trust and being blind to seeing the truth and start discerning the situation to get the most from it. Basically saying Michael pull your head out of your ass!

2. How has it Helped Me?

3 of Pentacles (Connecting with the 6 of Wands)

Pentacles - Earth, Grounded, Materialistic Realm

To me the three of pentacles tells me that it has helped me to understand and work with others. This has helped me to socialize and to be able to work within a group environment. It says that I learned from that Fool experience and was able to grow from it, to really be inspired from that time in my life and to focus on goals and projects that I desired to see implemented in my future. This Earthiness that manifested from the Fire aspect of the Fool has grown, To me it tells me that It has helped me to learn to not be so Fire in which I can burn those around me or even burn out but to channel my passions by grounding and organizing and finding a structure base and surrounding myself with people who would support my beliefs and passions and share similar interests to promote growth!

2 of Cups (reversed, Connectin with 3 of Cups)

See this is a very interesting pair to me. Two water cards so very fluid, very emotional. And yes there was a point in my life especially that point in the cups aspect that it reminds me of I was VERY VERY emotional! More emotional than I thought I could be. In this aspect I feel that it has helped me to weed out relationships that no longer serve me. I gave my heart to people that did not cherish what was being given and that was my doing and I accept full responsibility for that but it has helped me to be able to balance out my emotions, to discern and to understand the toxic relationships I had during that time and to get rid of the people who no longer were in my best interest.

2 of Pentacles (Connecting with Queen of Wands reversed)

hmm another Two and another Earth card that is connecting with a Fire card. Interesting indeed.

To me the Two of Pentacles is all about juggling life and learning to find the balance in ones life. Taking from the past and looking at the future and being in the present moment just finding that balance. So to me this card in its meaning has helped me to really learn to discern my words, how I speak to people, what to get myself into and how to get myself out of something. It tells me to learn to co-operate with the flow of energy. To bite my tongue when I know I need to and to speak up when I know I should as well.

3. How has it hurt me?

The Sun (Reversed, Connects with 6 of Wands/3 of Pentacles)

Major Arcana - Big Events, Major Moment in Life, Big Challenges

To me this states that I was so passionate about my work, my plans, accomplishments and I started projects and yet didn't get fully credited for what I did, A pattern of not being taken or used for what I truly am so Others got the credit for what I do and did and I just was on the sidelines and the sense of "defeat" comes to mind. I put a lot into the work I do and This does remind me of a time ago when I did psychic training, my teacher was not what she claimed to be and so I left, I went to Massage School and the teachers there were not what they claimed and I had to leave it seems that what I get passionate about there always seems to be an obstacle in the way and I always feel defeated and now that I am writing this and reading it I can see these patterns and its giving me great insight into how to balance that out.

8 of Wands (Reversed, Connecting 3 of Cups/2 of Cups)

This hurt is still fresh with me it seems. The 8 of Wands tells me that in this situation it hurt me by really slowing me down. It brought a lot to the forefront of my life and it almost shattered me when I had to release these people and for a time it just made everything slow. My hair business slowed down, my life slowed down and almost came to a halt, everything just seemed dull. The Flame or spark of life wasn't shining bright it was dull and dim. This definitely speaks of a hibernation almost hermit period; very stagnant.

Page of Swords (Reversed, Connecting Queen of Wands RX* 2 of Pentacles)

Swords - Air, Intellect, Wisdom, Bitchy Blunt Cards

This card tells me that it has hurt me in the sense of trust. My head is with the fae, I was day dreaming and off in the clouds and not really paying attention to what is laid before me but hoping and wishing for whats to come and so making a choice or decision without fully paying attention to whats going on has really hurt me in this. It tells me that not noticing the signs of people in my life have lead to much confusion, challenge and pain.

4. Where in my life do I need to be more Foolish?

The Hermit (Reversed)

I need to be more foolish in my Inner Life. The Hermit reversed tells me I need to pay more attention to my inner workings as there are great messages being given to me now but I am not hearing or receiving them due to blockages which to me can be from work and the busy energy of the holidays. So I need to be more like the fool in this respect to be able to just connect. Not to think about it or execute a plan but to just go for it. Get crazy and allow it to come forth. To me this is the saying "Just do it." Get out of the Logical and into the Spirit and let it flow!

The Hanged Man

This card tells me I need to sit in meditation and really contemplate what is going on. Just let it unfold and rid things that no longer serve me. I need to get rid of what is toxic fully and to let it go this time and not harbor any old ill wills or energies. I am going through a huge transition and it seems like its taking quite some time and not working but the truth is that it IS working and I need to act the Fool in this and just be care free and stop taking it so seriously.

King of Wands

This tells me that I need to be like the King, be able to look out at my past and learn from my experiences but not allow them to attach to me and dictate to me. I allow the experiences to come forth and rule with a creative heart and a kind heart. To take the fun and new energy from The Fool and forge it into my serious energy of the King. To take the creative energy I have as the Fool and ignite it with the King. So I need to act more like the fool in my leadership skills, in my aspect of my life that oversees my past, and is working to build management and leadership skills.

5. Where will the Fool not serve me?

8 of Swords

The Fool will not serve me when I am physically and intellectually blinded. This tells me that if old wounds arise and blockages come forth that the Fool will not serve me in working these out.

3 of Swords (Reversed)

This tells me that the Fool will not serve me when I am recovering from this emotional heart break period. The stage in life when I am/was coming out of it, it would of not served me to act the Fool. It would of hindered my progress.

6 of Swords (yet another swords card hmm....)

This tells me that if I am making a move for a different situation in the work place that I need not act the fool. Traveling or moving on to a different job moving towards the future i need to be on my game and acting the Fool in these plans would not benefit me AT ALL!

*note: I noticed that all these cards were swords cards so I am wondering if it would not be wise to act a fool in the suit of swords lol.

6. Where do I find the Fool outside Myself?

The Moon (Reversed)

I can see the Fool in the social interaction between my Friend and Myself. I see the Fool in the clarity of when truth is finally found out and the Sun shines upon the day. When Depression Lifts and truth is seen that is where the Fool is noticed. So when the Blindfold comes off as in the 8 of Swords, the Fool is seen immediately!

Ace of Wands

The Fool can be seen in the Gifts that are presented to my creativity. When someone comes into my life and presents me something that feeds my spirit or my creative juices that is when the Fool Manifests. When my emotional status balanced out and I was given and found stability and blessing in my true friends, that is when the Fool manifested.

Ten of Pentacles

The Fool Manifest outside myself in group efforts. When my co-workers gather, when family members meet that is where the Fool can arise outside myself. I see him constantly lol.

7. What gifts does it bring me?

7 of Wands (reversed)

He brings the gift of fluidity. Instead of having to combat and fight against the flow of passion and creativity; he teaches the ability to go with the flow and to let down the war attitude and just float to the inner workings of the inner child.

Queen of Cups (Reversed)

He brings to me the Gift of being able to see the present moment and the future. He has taught me to let the past be the past and to learn from the present and to be able to harness that energy to look into the future. To finally get control of emotions and to work with them instead of against them.

Four of Wands

He brings the gift of "wholeness" of family and blessing. To me he teaches how to overcome the obstacles and gossip of the family and work life and how to live in truth and happiness with my people in my life. He brings it full circle! What a blessing!

Anyways lol I hope my ramblings made sense, Its actually brought up some interesting things for me to think about. OMG This took me forever! It has given me a lot of insight though and has taught me a lot and wow I am just amazed as to how everything unfolded! YAY!!

I Radiate Love!

I have been playing around with Photoshop as of late and I truly hope to learn so much more about it as the days pass! It is a wonderful tool and so much fun!

The more that I experience life and the development of the soul the more that I truly understand that it is all about Love! When things flow well if you take the time to breathe in and listen you can feel the energy the vibration of love around you and within you.

I know when I am reading Tarot and in tune with spirit I can feel the vibration of love around me. I'll be reading for a person and just going on and on as spirit speaks and I just let it flow and then when all is said and done I pause for a moment and at that moment I am very clear and serene. That is when I truly feel the vibration of Love around as it had been there all the time through the reading guiding me.

So my affirmation is "I Radiate Love!" affirm this daily and before you move on with your day listen to what energy you call to yourself when you do affirm this. Be calm, be still, breathe in and listen!

Who's A Product Whore? I AM! err... WAS

Yes I am a stylist and yes that's my excuse!

Well... It WAS my excuse until TODAY! Yes I know that everything that we keep has a vibration and effects our spirit and our physical environment. So today I decided to clean out my bathroom cupboards *insert daunting music here.*

So I open the Cupboards and seriously I think I had 15 cans of hairspray fall out at once! I don't even use that much hairspray let alone enough to have 15 CANS!! I had three baskets full of product, I txt a friend of mine asking if she needs anything and she screamed she needs everything. So I got a Bag *go green bag wooot* and I started filling it up. I think I gave her all my hairspray, shine spray, Wax,, Curl Booster, Straightening Creme, and sooo much more! After filling a bag of Hair Products up for my friend *hmm I sort of feel like Hair Product Santa omy* I decided to toss out what I didnt need. I looked at it and said Nope I havent used it in a while it goes! So I now have more room in my Bathroom for new energy and it just puts me in a higher vibration so that I may manifest my desires! SOOOO Excited!

So I have shed a lot of weight in Hair Product! And I think my next goal will be my room. I need to re-organize my library and get rid of the dust bunnies that may be hiding in the corners and and OOH toss out old magazines!

On A Roll!

Stay Light and Have Fun!

The Journey Begins

It seems that I enjoy Writing as much as I enjoy talking so I figured I would create a blog to express myself and share what Spirit moves me to share. I started this blog because Spirit invited me to take a walk on a path that I desired, A Path of teaching, of expression and creativity. I was in a moment of clarity and was able to listen and at that clear moment I heard spirit speak. I was instructed to create a 6 month Psychic Development course to share with those who will seek it out.

Soo... At first I was a bit hesitant but let that energy roll off and I embodied spirit. I went and got my Notebook, I got my handy dandy Pen and I started writing. I didn't think about what I was writing too much, I just let it flow. There were points that I left blank only to fill them in later. What follows is the outline that I with the help of the Divine Spirit fluidly came up with.

Psychic Development Course

6th Month: Final Month; Putting it all together

  2. Building your support team
  3. You! As a Psychic
  4. The Gift
So I have the outline finished. The content will be easy to write since the Psychic world is indeed my calling and my passion and I allow for spirit to move me fluidly. Now the next thing after writing content is deciding on a Price point. I know that the information that I teach is of great value. It is what I sought out by all the teachers I took on and that took me on and plus some. I know I took a year training which was over $1000 and what I will teach in 6 months I barely learned in that year program. I know that I paid $350 for a two day Mediumship course. I do find the content worth every bit of it but at the same time I want for those who desire it to be able to come and receive its blessings as well. Not all are in the abundant mind frame at this very moment which is fine, they will be one day if it is what they desire but I'd like to make sure that the course I am teaching is attainable to them in their current thought frequency so that it may be able to help them transcend and enter a new and higher vibrating frequency so that leaves me with a dilemma for the price of the course.

I personally have invested a lot of dedication, time and study to my path and my psychic skills and I continue to do so. Writing this course is another aspect of study and dedication to my skills and I just want to make sure that the passion I have for this is offered in a respectable manner to all those who seek it out.

I will have to meditate more on the Price aspect of this journey.

I am indeed truly blessed and excited to see this project manifest and come together. I know this is definitely a new journey for me and I am looking forward to it. I am in gratitude for all those who have helped me reach my goals and have inspired me to be the Spiritual being that I am. I Love you all!
